Redefining the Digital Banking Experience
Being the 13th largest bank in the U.S., with approximately 3 million customers and over 400,000 digital banking transactions daily, the transformation was enormous, risky, and one of the most advanced such programs. KeyBank chose Photon for its transformation program and trusted us to build WOW digital experiences and introduce new business capabilities.
Photon's work involved designing, architecting, developing, and implementing a fully integrated digital user experience framework to create adaptive responsive presences across devices ranging from desktops to tablets to mobile phones. Due to KeyCorp's acquisition of First Niagara midway through the program, KeyBank accelerated the program to meet the tight timeframes and high expectations of seamlessly integrating First Niagara Financial Services customers on new online banking platform. It was accomplished primarily through new revolutionary multi-device architecture and continuous delivery methods using an OpenShift based Continuous Delivery infrastructure which allows for rapid production releases.
"The partnership with Photon,” says Vipin, “was instrumental in helping us completely redesign and transform our digital online banking user experience across all devices. Photon helped us accelerate timelines as we wanted to deliver newly designed experience to additional one million clients from First Niagara.”"KeyBank's digital channels handle more business today than our branches. Our customers expect digital solutions to provide convenience, peace of mind and the ability to bank on-the-go. As our trusted and go-to partner for digital experience work, Photon's creative design, technology inputs and thought leadership have played a significant role in our successful delivery of this ambitious program," says Amy G. Brady, Chief Information Officer at KeyCorp.
